RECAP OF TORTUGAS BASEBALL GAME: While   there   may   have   been   no   joy   in   Mudville,   a   great   time   was   had   by   all   at   our   most   recent   event   at   Jackie   Robinson   Ballpark   in   Daytona this   last   Saturday.   We   had   39   friends   and   neighbors   participate   in   the   event.      We   all   started   off   with   a   dinner   of   hamburgers,   hot   dogs, chicken, pulled pork and some sides.  Rumor has it that there was beer and wine along with soft drinks. After   the   feast,   it   was   off   to   our   seats   behind   home   plate   to   watch   Pat   Wilson   throw   out   the   first   pitch.      Some   of   the   members   of   our community   may   not   know   this,   but   Pat   actually   played   professional   baseball.      She   played   catcher   for   the   Lassies   Juniors   and   was   the   Bat Girl for the Muskegon Lassies.  Pat’s uniform resides at Baseball’s Hall of Fame. Time   for   a   few   more   beverages   and   then   nine   full   innings   of   baseball.      The   evening   was   capped   off   with   a   magnificent   display   of   fireworks.     Take a moment to enjoy the pictures posted on our website.
